Former lawyer Chris Radburn is an Aussie comedian who has earned a reputation for clever and cheeky observations that are relatable, original and hilarious. Chris has appeared on over 15 TV shows including The NRL Footy Show, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, CNN International, Stand up Australia, Thursday Night Live, Getaway, Joker Poker and the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala and performed overseas in America, Malaysia, Solomon Islands, Egypt, Dubai and New Zealand.
Chris is a regular on the Australian comedy circuit and was handpicked to support Weird Al Yankovic, Rob Schneider and Steve O on their Australian tours at Sydney's Enmore Theatre. This likeable and funny laid back Aussie bloke has performed to sold out shows at all the festivals including the Sydney Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Bangalow's Big Joke Festival, Woodford Folk Festival and Sydney's World's Funniest Island. Proving he is a multi-talented performer, Chris hosted the Kids Comedy Showcase, argued in the Great Comedy Debate and performed his solo show 'Stand Up Dad' at the 2011 Sydney Comedy Festival.
On Radio during footy season Chris is co-host with Ch10 Sports presenter Brad McEwan on 2GB's top rating AFL show 'The Bounce'.
Internationally, Chris has delivered his jokes to happy audiences in America, at the world renowned New York's Gotham Comedy Club, New Zealand, Malaysia, on P&O Cruises in the South Pacific and as part of 3 Forces Entertainment tours to the Solomon Islands, Egypt and Dubai to entertain the Australian Troops. Chris was also invited as one of a select few Australian comics to perform in NBC's Last Comic Standing in Miami, USA where he finished an International finalist in 2008.
As a comedy actor Chris has appeared in many national television commercials for Austar, Doritos, McDonalds, Toyota, KFC, Trading Post, Choice and VB Gold.
More about Chris - Chris developed his sense funny growing up the youngest of three in Casino, the home of Beefweek. Chris' first gigs were breakdancing in shopping malls for Thursday late night shoppers. As a kid Chris dreamed of being a Melbourne Cup winning jockey but had to let that go as he couldn't ride a horse. With a new dream of playing for the Wallabies, Chris enjoyed many successful years playing rugby for Bond University and the Lismore Fruitbats until a knee injury brought it all to an end. So off to Law school and a legal career. No thanks. Chris wanted to make people laugh for a living. So off to Sydney and acting school. And the rest is well as they say ....a bio. see above.
